We’re excited to share some of the newest Exam.net updates that we hope will be useful to you and your students. As always, your feedback helps us improve, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you think!
Individual Submission Timer – Now with Extra Time Adjustments
A long-time favorite now comes with the ability to add extra time for individual students. You can choose to extend their time in minutes or as a percentage of the original duration – giving you more flexibility to support those who need it.
→ Set a time limit as usual in the exam configurations and then go to the monitoring view when the exam has started to adjust time settings. Read more here!
Speech to Text – a New Dictation Tool
We’ve introduced a speech-to-text feature to make exams even more accessible. Students can now dictate their responses, which are automatically converted into text. This feature is available for free-text exams and can be enabled by teachers. Students are informed when they start the exam.
→ Activate it under Accessibility tools → Speech to text in the exam configurations.
